ICMT advisory board members met in Athens for the semi-annual JIP project reviews.
WW JIP board met on Monday, March 30 at the Institute, CC JIP board met for three days, March 31-April 2,
in HR Training Center on Union Street, and the TLC JIP board met on April 2-3 at the Institute.

The Corrosion Center JIP board meeting was well appreciated by the 25 representatives from 14 member
companies in attendance. In our direct feedback session at the end of the meeting, representatives stated that the "Selection of
presentation materials and quality of topics was excellent," and "Timing and organization was great [with] sufficient time for questions."
Topics that remain high on research list include: Localized Corrosion Mechanisms, H2S dominated corrosion, and Under Deposit Corrosion.
The Students and Staff of the Corrosion Center would like to thank each representative that attended for their intuitive questions and
discussion on the multitude of topics discussed over the 2 1/2 day meeting.
The TLC JIP board meeting was attended by representatives from six of the seven current sponsoring
companies (ConocoPhillips, BP, Total, ENI, OXY, Chevron) as well as one guest from PTTEP. The meeting focused on new model development
(TOPCORP V3.0) in addition other research topics were discussed (droplet transport, oil/water co-condensation and corrosion/condensation
processes).
The Water Wetting JIP board Meeting was held at the Corrosion Center. The work of the last six months
was reviewed including flow loop test results, dynamic contact angles, paraffin work as well as extensive modeling work. The meeting was
very successful. Special discussions on the extension of the project took place (see
proposal). The extension is planned to
immediately follow the current project and is open to new companies. For more information please contact the project leader,

The next round of ICMT Advisory Board meetings is scheduled for October 19 - 23, 2009, in Athens.
