A Big Night for ICMT at the Awards Banquet at NACE

ICMT staff and students had great visibility at the NACE International conference in Phoenix and collected some of the biggest awards. They presented 20+ papers, 15+ posters, the ICMT alumni presented another 8 papers and chaired 6 sessions, grad students Juan Dominguez Olivo and Claudia Prieto won two of the three top prizes for their posters and Dr. Nesic won the prestigious Whitney Award for contribution to corrosion science. This most successful year at NACE finished for the ICMT folk at the NACE Awards Banquet dinner, where Dr, Nesic received his award and gave a short speech thanking for all the support by his students, alumni and staff, his family and NACE, and looking forward to even bigger successes with the new generations.
