Fazlollah Madani Sani to Receive the NACE Outstanding Student Award at CORROSION2020
ICMT's Fazlollah Madani Sani will be recognized with the NACE International Foundation Outstanding Student Award at the upcoming CORROSION2020 conference.
His dissertation research focuses on the effect of salt concentration on uniform CO2/H2S corrosion of carbon steel, critical for the modelling of corrosion in high salinity media.
The model stemming from his work is currently being incorporated into ICMT's MULTICORPTM corrosion prediction software.
Fazlollah is the current Chair of Ohio University's NACE Student Chapter and was previously on the Graduate Student Senate and Russ College Research Integrity Committee. He will present on "A Mechanistic Study on the Effect of Salt Concentration on Uniform Corrosion Rate of Pipeline Steel in Acidic Aqueous Environments" at CORROSION2020.
