ICMT Researchers in Argentina

Dr. Nesic and Dr. Paolinelli have visited Buenos Aires, Argentina in October 2018 where they presented their research at the Latincorr 2018 conference, the biggest annual corrosion forum in Latin America. Dr. Nesic presented an invited lecture: CAUSES AND MECHANISMS OF LOCALIZED CORROSION OF MILD STEEL IN CO₂/H₂S AQUEOUS ENVIRONMENTS while Dr. Paolinelli presented a lecture titled: STUDY OF FLOW EFFECTS ON CO2 CORROSION OF CARBON STEEL USING A THIN CHANNEL FLOW CELL.
Dr. Nesic also visited the Instituto de Tecnologia Sabato, which is a part of the Universidad Nacional de San Martin and Comision Nacional de Energia Atomica in Buenos Aires. At the invitation of the local student section of NACE, he presented a lecture : A COMPREHENSIVE MODEL OF MILD STEEL CORROSION IN WEAK ACIDS.
